Hey there, I'm Jalena!

I teach women how to REGULATE and EXPAND their nervous system, enabling them to overcome challenges associated with autoimmune conditions. This transformation allows them to experience better health as well as greater alignment and authenticity in all areas of their life.

I am a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, TRTP Practitioner, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Fitness and Nutrition expert, Behavior Change Specialist.

I wasn't always doing what I love from a place of regulation

I was “successful,” for all intents and purposes. I had a stable career that allowed me to work hybrid, I was traveling whenever I wanted, I had supportive relationships, a good marriage, a four-bedroom house, and all the things that we’ve been told should make us happy.

But I wasn't happy. I was lacking fulfillment and meaning in my life and I was stressed out and angry most of the time. Every little thing seemed to trigger me, and the more I tried to "keep it all together" and control everything around me, the deeper I sank into overwhelm and anxiety.

And all of this was happening in conjunction with struggles with multiple autoimmune disorders. I was diagnosed with celiac when I was 25 and hashimotos hypothyroid at 33.

The truth is, I had been in a nervous system state called "functional freeze" for decades. I was highly functional and hyper-independent, but emotionally I was shut down and repressed. But the ice was starting to thaw, and the very mechanisms that had kept me pushing, achieving, and striving for decades were starting to fail. With that, intense anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout began to surface in the form of GAD (generalized anxiety disorder).

I was struggling with what seemed like and endless list of symptoms:

I know what it's like to feel stuck in a cycle of health issues, facing days filled with frustration, doubt, and that sinking sense of hopelessness. But I also know what it’s like to rediscover hope—to start believing in the possibility of real change and to finally see progress.

I’ve seen so many people, including myself, follow all the “right” steps—eating a clean, nutrient-rich diet, exercising, taking supplements, meditating, prioritizing sleep, and checking every box for a healthy lifestyle—and still, the healing just doesn’t happen. It’s now so clear to me: our physical health mirrors the state of our mind, brain, and nervous system. Our thoughts, emotions, and inner experiences shape who we are being, and this inner reality is what our nervous system absorbs and reinforces every single day.

My own journey through autoimmune conditions and other health challenges was long and filled with trial and error. After years of pushing through every possible solution, I had a pivotal realization: true healing isn’t only about the actions we take, but about the state we cultivate within. This shift in focus—from doing to being—became the turning point that changed everything for me, and it's my passion to help others find that same liberation on their own path.

The burnout and anxiety that I experienced were my greatest teachers. They introduced me to this healing work and when I say that it's changed everything....I mean EVERYTHING!
